The Vine has been selected to go into Britain’s Best Pub Guide for 2009
We are also going in this year’s (2008) AA Good Pub Guide as one of their ‘Pick of the Pubs’ and we were awarded ‘Excellent’ for our Food Hygiene in the ‘Safe2Eat’ campaign (one of only 9 pubs to do so).

The Vine at Hannington offers a menu of home-made country pub food at affordable prices. Our menu changes with the seasons and always includes a variety of daily specials. Many of the herbs, salads and vegetables used in our dishes are grown in our own garden.

Quiz Night at the Vine
Every Thursday night is Quiz Night at The Vine. The quiz has been running for over a decade and is very much a social event...but still a good chance to exercise the little grey cells!
The quiz starts at 9:30 and runs until about 10:45 with a picture round at half time that could see you winning a free round of drinks from the bar!
Winners of the main quiz are asked to donate half their winnings to a charity of their choice. Past beneficiaries include St. Michael's Hospice in Basingstoke and Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
